"Beej Patakha: Eco-Friendly Firecrackers Bursting with Life"

In a bid to transform the traditional Diwali celebration into a more environmentally conscious one, 21Fools introduces "Beej Patakha" — a revolutionary line of crackers that not only sparkle with festive joy but also sprout into vibrant plants. Breaking away from the conventional fireworks like flower pots, ladis, hydrogen bombs, and rockets, Beej Patakha is crafted from recyclable materials and embedded with live seeds, offering an eco-friendly alternative for those seeking a greener Diwali.

Founded by Divyanshu, CEO of 21Fools, the initiative was inspired by the success of their previous eco-friendly endeavor, Seed Rakhis for Raksha Bandhan. Divyanshu emphasizes that the intention is not to discourage Diwali celebrations but to provide an option for those interested in making a positive environmental impact. The crackers boast captivating designs and, when planted, give rise to a variety of plants, turning the act of bursting crackers into a delightful gardening experience.

The seeds integrated into these unique crackers include mustard, fenugreek, spinach, amaranthus, roselle, cucumber, and green sorrel. The process is simple — sow the seeds, water them, and witness the transformation of festive joy into blooming greenery. Since the introduction of 'Beej Kapas' in 2014, a paper that grows into a plant, 21Fools has been dedicated to crafting millions of products that have blossomed into millions of plants, contributing to a more sustainable future.

Beyond crackers, 21Fools extends its commitment to sustainability with a diverse range of products, including plantable calendars, stationery such as envelopes and journals, as well as cotton face masks and bags. Their future plans involve venturing into blue pottery, collaborating with craftsmen in a Jaipur village to create new, sustainable products. Divyanshu, an engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, not only leads this eco-conscious movement but is also passionate about filmmaking, writing, and chai.

This Diwali, as the nation gears up for celebrations, Beej Patakha stands out as a symbol of eco-friendly festivity, inviting individuals to not only revel in the joy of the festival but also contribute to a greener, more sustainable tomorrow.
