"Bharat Shakti: Showcasing India's Indigenous Defence Prowess"
In a significant display of India's indigenous defence capabilities, a Tri-Services Live Fire and Manoeuvre Exercise unfolded in Pokhran, Rajasthan. Dubbed 'Bharat Shakti', this event showcased a diverse range of homegrown weapon systems and platforms, embodying the nation's commitment to self-reliance in defence.
The demonstration featured a host of indigenous equipment and weapons systems from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. From T-90 (IM) Tanks to Dhanush and Sarang Gun Systems, the Indian Army showcased its advanced ground warfare capabilities. Additionally, logistics drones, robotic mules, and an array of unmanned aerial vehicles underscored India's prowess in aerial surveillance.
The Indian Navy highlighted its maritime strength with displays of Naval Anti-Ship Missiles, Autonomous Cargo Carrying Aerial Vehicles, and Expendable Aerial Targets, demonstrating technological sophistication in naval operations.
Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force deployed indigenously developed aircraft such as the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, Light Utility Helicopters, and Advanced Light Helicopters, showcasing air superiority and versatility in air operations.
This demonstration not only underscored India's preparedness to counter contemporary and future challenges but also highlighted the resilience and innovation of the domestic defence industry. Through showcasing indigenous capabilities on a global stage, Bharat Shakti exemplified India's strides towards self-reliance in defence.
