How a WhatsApp Group Led by Raju Nepali Rescued 1500 Victims of Human Trafficking

In the heart of West Bengal's Dooars region, Raju Nepali has emerged as a beacon of hope for families devastated by human trafficking. Through his NGO, Duars Express Mail, Raju has orchestrated the rescue of over 1,500 victims, offering a lifeline to those ensnared in the clutches of exploitation.

The journey to justice often begins with a frantic call, like the one from Bijoy's father, desperate to locate his missing son. With swift action and a network of 230 individuals spanning journalists, police, social workers, and lawyers, Raju mobilizes resources at lightning speed. Using modern solutions like WhatsApp groups, Raju ensures no time is wasted in the pursuit of rescuing the abducted.

Raju's own brush with the harrowing realities of human trafficking fuels his unwavering commitment. A chance encounter in Nepal in 1992 with a missing girl, later found ensnared in Pune's red-light district, opened his eyes to the vicious cycle of exploitation. Determined to break this chain, Raju founded Duars Express Mail, driven by the tragic fate of his friend and the urgent need for intervention.

Today, Duars Express Mail stands as a testament to Raju's resilience and compassion. Operating on the frontline of the battle against human trafficking, the organization leaves no stone unturned in its mission to reunite families and restore hope. With every rescued child, Raju sees a glimmer of victory—a testament to the power of collective action and unwavering determination in the face of adversity.
